The Columbia Workshop On Journalism, Race & Ethnicity aims to "Select excellent examples of race and ethnic coverage by newspaper and television journalists and have them share their work -- as evocative case studies -- with a group of media "gatekeepers," editors and broadcasters who set newsroom agendas and can implement changes".
